A walk down memory lane.

The location is excellent with nice restaurants close by. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The staff did their best to make us feel welcome and the assistance was outstanding. We booked an extra night and the booking went seamless.

There are not enough wrongs to warrant a note or complaint. There is one thing which would be nice to have. If you make a booking, it would be great if you could see which unit is available as we are familiar with the location and have our favourite spot.

Fantastic break in a friendly, happy environment!

Even before you arrive at the property, you are made to feel welcome. We received a call to ask if we were celebrating a special occasion or if there was anything we needed. On arrival the reception was so friendly and efficient. The chalet had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable. Being by the water is always a wonderful experience. There is a lot of bird life on the water. Plenty of activities and nice restaurants in the area.

Very pleasant stay in a beautiful setting on the water.

Beautiful Marina setting. Very comfortable King bed, great kitchen, full DSTV. Unit 7A. Recommend. Fabulous beaches at nearby Dwarskersbos.

Could do with an upgrade but it’s not a train smash.

The location was very good with awesome view. Activities were offered like the boat rides. Christmas carols were invited to listen too.

Child friendly/family oriented

We have been travelling around the Western Cape and this was by far our best stay! This was exactly what we always look for in a property as we have a toddler and need certain conveniences. It ticked all the boxes: space; well equipped kitchen; washing machine; bath tub; daily servicing and our little girl was kept entertained by the pool and play area. Staff were incredibly friendly and always helpful, checking if we needed fresh towels or toilet paper regularly. The restaurant across the street was a nice option and served tasty food. Nothing beat the morning sunrise view, and waking up to the sea breeze, having a coffee on the veranda and watching the birds fly by. Friends and family came to visit for the day from CT and we had a braai; the outside area is great for relaxing and entertaining. My personal favourite: cleanliness! We travel a lot and this was one of the few places that actually had clean carpets (and carpet refresh) on arrival and a surfaces were wiped down thoroughly.

1. Water pressure was very low which didn’t always make showering easy. 2. Reception only opened at 8am for paddle boat and kayak rentals, however, it’s so hot in Summer and the sun already baking your skin by 9am. It would be great if they had options to access these from 6am, especially for early risers and those wanting to beat the heat.

Marie and her Colleagues are super friendly and efficient. Lovely, friendly reception, very welcoming. Chalet was great! Clean, neat and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back for a longer stay!

Need touch up

Location is perfect. Staff friendly.

The bedroom blinds were broken, so light came through very early in the morning. There were paint splatters on bedroom floor and the fan light in lounge not working. Bedding was crisp but yellow stains on it. Litle things that need attention. Will visit again.

The privacy and compatibility was marvelous for the property. Love all the appliances available. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bathrooms are good planned with shower, toilet and bath. Will definitely visit you again in future.

We stayed there for a week and had a superb time. The local community is very friendly.

The Private Jetty for our boat was a very big highlight for me. Unit1 is nice big and comfortable. It was clean and Braai facilities were cleaned every morning. Plenty of bird life around and good view over the marina.

Didn't like the shower door it was not functioning properly and wets the floor. The DSTV and TV is outdated.

The whole atmosphere and restaurant so near to the resort.

The wifi was bad we had to use our data and the fact that the semi heated pool was under construction.

Very Good

The scenery of water and the birds was a great highlight.Peace and quite around the resort was also blessed.

The WiFi was very weak,the pool was empty apparently busy with maintenance. Could not watch the rugby as the DSTV had the low package with minimum channels.
